Shirley Katz  

 Shirley Katz is a Toronto-born artist who has always loved to draw and is grateful that art is a major part of her life. After marrying and raising three children, she returned to art classes at C.W.Jeffries Secondary School in the 1980s and later joined workshops and classes at various facilities. In 1993 she became a member of the Willowdale Group of Artists and has steadily contributed her work to the Group's many shows in Toronto, North York, Markham, Unionville and Richmond Hill. Recently she has joined and exhibited with NYVA. Her goal in painting is to capture in oils and convey through the creative use of colour the warmth and beauty of everyday moments.
