Sandra Iafrate

Sandra is a North Toronto artist who began work in communications and journalism in the 1980s, later taking up art as a hobby while raising a family. She has studied art for the past 15 years through various art schools and workshops across Canada and abroad. She has learned from renowned artist Nancy Hughes of Calgary, Alberta and Kevin Taylor in Melbourne, Australia and still attends part-time studies in classical drawing at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto.

Sandra creates her own original works in all mediums, primarily oil painting, and she enjoys teaching the fundamentals of drawing to youths and adults, showing them ‘how to see’.

-Showing exhibitions quarterly at Fairlawn Art Gallery and occasionally various other galleries
