Born and educated in Ireland. Continured independent studies in London, including additional courses in drawing and painting, specializing in portraits in oil.
Emigrated to Canada in 1975. Lived in Montreal for 10 years, taking many art courses in different medias .... including a three year art course at the Gerry Van Dykhoff school of art in the West Island ... and a John Cabot College with John Walsh.
