Sundown at Jerry's Creek
watercolour, 24 x 20"
|
I started painting in
1996. I found the diverse resource material at Toronto Public Library most
informative and a continual source of instruction. I am always in search of
new techniques and find more than enough to satisfy my curiosity through
this facility.
Painting was never something I aspired to and I came upon it quite by
accident. During a computer course I stumbled upon Superpaint, a paint
program, and became fascinated with it. I had to draw and paint objects by
hand to enable me to reproduce them on the computer. |

My friend
gave me some of her old watercolour paints and paper, and as they say, "The rest is
history!"
Colour and nature provides a perpetual source of inspiration and I find
watercolour an ideal medium for my expression of art forms. I hope you enjoy
my work. If I have entertained you, then I have succeeded in my craft.
